Whether you've got a question about sizing on a specific piece, want to check the condition of something before you buy, or need help with an order, we're here to help. Recovering Hipster is a small, hands-on shop — every email that comes through gets read by an actual person who works the floor at our East Colfax storefront, not a support queue. We aim to respond to every message within 1–2 business days, and often much sooner.

How long does it take to hear back?
We respond to every email within 1–2 business days. During busy weekends after a big estate-sale haul, it may take a little longer — we appreciate your patience.
Can I ask about the condition of a specific piece before buying?
Absolutely. Every listing includes a condition grade and true flat measurements, but if you want more detail — extra photos, a closer look at a specific seam — just email us the product name or link.
Do you accept clothing for consignment or trade?
Yes, for select 1960s–1990s pieces in good condition that fit our curation. Email photos and measurements and we'll let you know if it's a fit for the shop.
How do I cancel or change an order I just placed?
Email us right away with your order number. Orders can typically be changed or cancelled within 2 hours of placement, before we begin packing.
What if a package arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage, and we'll send a prepaid return label and issue a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
